Windows 7 System Hangs

I just installed Win 7 Ultimate on my system. It was previously Win XP. As long as I leave my wired connection pluged in my system does not hang. There are no hardware conflicts. Eveything else works. If I unplug my wired connection and use just the wireless connection the system hangs, sometimes at boot or shortly after starting. The wireless does work. As long as my wired is connected I can go for ever with no issues. Any suggestion are greatly appreciated. Thankyou.

Thanks for the info. I did down load the wired driver from intel and still had the problem. Didn't think to do the same with the wireless. Just did and it did not resolve issue.
Thanks

Try removing the current wireless connection and make a new one, also reset your router.
