I have never seen reference to this problem and am completely stymied. I did a system restore 4 days ago. My system is back to the state it was before, but ever since I restored it, I keep getting the "SYSTEM RESTORED on XXXX date" coming up every time I start my computer. Apparently everything is working OK but it is a real nuisance and just want it gone. I have been trying to get rid of that message ever since with absolutely no luck. I have done searches, but don't really know what to look for or where it could be. Does anyone have any ideas?
