Windows 10 Task scheduler

I have created a task that will run once every night 01:00 on my Windows machine.
It worked OK before upgrade to Windows 10 Pro.
Now it doesn't.
When I try to run it manually from Task Scheduler following error occurs:

Task Scheduler service is not available. Task Scheduler will attempt to reconnect to it.

What is wrong - my Windows 10 Pro system is updated with all updates.

When I removed the network condition for my task then it worked ... hmmm strange ... the network was up and running.
My task makes a backup to a LAN server but since the network is always up I really don't need the condition - if the network is down (for some reason) then the backup fails which I can see in the log - no big deal

In device manager you can look at the power management tab under properties on the NIC and see if it's set to shutdown to save power.

at any rate, zkab … since you removed the old offending schedule … you can now create an identical schedule … this one probably will extend no further conflict. and you'd do well to consider neemo's suggestion.
