Days after the sad death of much-loved polar bear Knut these cute cubs celebrated their first day out in front of the public with an arctic roll with their mum.
The polar bear cubs - Gregot and Aleut, now four months old - joined mum Vera as they met their fans for the first time at Nuremberg Zoo, Germany.
The youngsters - normally at home in the Arctic Circle - couldn't wait to chill out in the zoo's specially cooled pond under mum's watchful eye.
The cubs now tip the scales at 45 lbs - but will one day get close to three quarters of a ton.
Keeper Petra Fritz said: 'Vera is taking to motherhood very well and the cubs are in excellent health. They are are just like her – bold and adventurous. They are just so sweet.'
Knut, who was hand reared at Berlin Zoo after being rejected by his mother shortly after being born, became a worldwide star three years ago when he was unveiled to an adoring public.
