Windows 7 Thunderbird won't send more than 1 mail in 7

HI all

I'm using win7 64bit OS, and have Thunderbird installed, works a dream on vista xp etc... I have set up my accounts correctly, it sends and gets messages ok, but if i try and send a second message, i get the "error sending, cach full try and empty e-mail cache"

Is this just a Thunderbird glich as it's not win7 64bit specific, or are there any settings in win7 that i need to change etc?
Never had this error message before, used it for a few years now.
