Windows 7 Too Many Processes?

Hi,
So my computer's been running kinda slow lately, and it even shut down (I assume due to overheating) while playing Starcraft 2 yesterday. So I'm thinking I either have a virus, spyware, or just too many processes.

I attached a picture of my current processes, so can someone tell me what I should get rid of? I also run avast and I use spybot and adaware. Thanks.

Nothing wrong with your processes list, and if your processor was overheating - it would be likely to show worse symptoms. Try checking your system out for junk files using ccleaner free from here:

CCleaner - Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download

If you're concerned about malware try running mbam, free from here

If you want to monitor your system remperature etc try hwmonitor (yep - free) from here:

Thanks for the response, I'll try those out. Another issue I've had is with my battery life. I used to get like 3-4 hours, now I get like 20 minutes, I really don't know what's going on.
