Windows 7 Touchpad/Mic Noise

im not sure if this is the right section to post this in but im sure someone in here may be able to help me.
i use Skype a lot on my Laptop.
but with my mic being located to the left of the touch pad rather than up beside the cam, which i've seen on most laptops, when i use the touchpad it creates a lot of noise for the person on the receiving end of the call
i was wondering if there was anything i can do or download that can help block this noise out, i do be in a Skype call for a good proportion of the time i use the laptop and it gets frustrating not being able to use the laptop while i do so

any help will be much appreciated

just get a small mouse and then ya dont need to use touchpad... or buy a dedicated usb mic
