New compaq laptop. all was working and then after an update the touchpad seemed to be turned on. Could not enter any data into logins to banks could not enter addresses to sites into address bar.
did a system restore back before update and all was fine.
currenty have updates turned off.
I normally have a ms. mouse model 3500 installed and the touchpad turned off.
I have reviewed many posts about touchpads but none seem to speak about this problem happening right after an update.
