Windows 7 Trouble connecting to xbox live through laptop

Hi, i tried many different things to connect my laptop to my xbox 30 to play online. Ive pretty much tried everything and I still need some help. Someone please help me

I have had similar issues with this in the past. With one router I used (netgear provided by comcast) Xbox 360 will only connect wile hardwired, My laptop can see my xbox, but my xbox is unable to see my laptop wile connected wireless. Then with most Cisco routers I can connect either way wireless or hardwired. Keep in mind you even if you are not able to access The Media Center, you should still be able to access music and movies through the video/music folders on the dashboard.
