Solution
If only one of your BenQ GW2450 monitors is working while both are plugged in, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to try to resolve the issue. Here are some suggestions:
1. Check Power Connections:
- Ensure that both monitors are securely plugged into a power source.
- Verify that the power cables are not damaged.
2. Check Video Connections:
- Make sure that both monitors are connected to the computer using the appropriate video cables (such as HDMI, DVI, or VGA).
- Try swapping the video cables between the monitors to see if the issue is with the cable or the monitor itself.
3. Check Display Settings:
- Go to your computer's display settings and check if both monitors are detected.

3. Check Display Settings:
- Go to your computer's display settings and check if both monitors are detected.
- Verify if the non-working monitor is set as an extended display or duplicate display.
4. Update Drivers:
- Ensure that your graphics card drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause display issues.
5. Test Each Monitor Individually:
- Disconnect the working monitor and test the non-working monitor separately to determine if the issue is with the monitor itself.
- If the non-working monitor functions when connected alone, the problem could be with the connection settings or the computer's ability to support dual monitors.
6. Reset Monitor Settings:
- Check the monitor's settings menu for any unusual configurations. You can try resetting the monitor to its factory settings.
7. Verify Power Saving Settings:
- Check the power-saving settings on your computer to ensure that they are not turning off one of the monitors to save power.
If you've tried these steps and are still experiencing issues with one of your BenQ GW2450 monitors, it might be helpful to troubleshoot the specific monitor that is not working further or contact BenQ support for assistance.
