My mom has a Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 with 64 Bit and she has Microsoft Windows Office 2007.

The problem that we are having is that after we print out a photo or document on the Epson Stylus NX515 printer the photo or document comes out fine but then there's another page afterwards that always prints out and we want to stop that from happening but don't know how to do it.

The information that comes out is this:

filename: Document 1
Directory:
Template: C:\Users\Owners\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\Normal.dotm
Title:
Subject:
Author: Owner
Keywords:
Comments:
Creation Date: 07/09/2011 5:05:00 PM
Change Number: 1

Total Editing Time: 0 minutes
Last Printed On: 07/09/2011 5:05:00 PM
As of Last Complete Printing:
Number of Pages: 1
Number of words: 258 (approx.)
Number of characters: 1,476 (approx.)

We would like some information and advise on how to delete this problem as its annoying and its wasting valuable paper. We're not sure how it started but it happens every time we print something out on the printer from the computer.

I hope someone in here can help me out with this as I don't know much about this stuff and I don't want to hit the wrong thing and make something go wrong on the Microsoft Office 2007 and the Windows 7 software.

Thanks for any help as it would be much appreciated.

Solution
Anne, It sounds like the issue you are experiencing with the additional page printing after each document from Microsoft Office 2007 is related to the document properties and template settings. Here's a guide on how you can address this problem:

Solution: Disable Document Properties Printing

  1. Access Document Properties:
    • Open the document you want to print from Microsoft Office 2007.
    • Go to the "File" menu.
    • Click on "Properties."
    []Modify Document Properties:
    • In the Document Properties window, go to the "Summary" tab.
    • Remove or clear any unwanted information in the fields like Title, Subject, Author, etc.
    • Click "OK" to save the changes.

    ]Check Template Settings:
    • Open a new/blank document in Microsoft Office 2007.
    • Check the template settings by going to the "File" menu and selecting "New."
    • Ensure that the template being used, typically Normal.dotm, does not have any unwanted information or additional pages set to print.
  2. Save the Document:
    • After modifying the document properties and checking the template settings, save your document.

      Additional Tips:

    • Printing Preferences:
    • Check the printer settings on your computer to ensure that there are no options set to print additional pages or document properties.
    • Default Printer Settings:
    • Verify the default printer settings on your Windows 7 computer to make sure there are no configurations forcing extra pages to print. By following these steps and ensuring that both the document properties and template settings are appropriately configured, you should be able to prevent the extra page with document details from printing after each document.
