Windows 7 Typing letters causes windows to open

When entering characters into google or other fields, random windows open especially ease of accessibility and others.

Help!!

This only happens to me when I'm typing on my laptop, but it happens often. I think it's because, where the keyboard is so much smaller, I hit the "ctrl" key (in the bottom left corner) by accident. The next time it happens hit the "ctrl" key and see if that works... it always does for me.
