Windows 7 Unable to join domain

I am trying to join my domain at work. I enter my domain name from the Computer Name/Domain Changes window. When I click OK, I get prompted for my username & password. I enter these, and then I get the following error:

The following error occurred attenpting to join the domain 'my_domain':
The parameter is incorrect.

Anyone have issues connecting to a domain?
