    Thanks for your superfast reply,
    updated the driver.
Is it usual for windows 7 to crash when your drivers aren't up to date?
Never had this problem with XP.

    You're welcome.

Yes, it is usual and the fault is with the drivers, not the Microsoft OS.

It's because the OS is newer and manufacturers haven't all created perfect drivers for it yet, as they have not had the "practice" like with XP that has been going for about 10 years now, give or take.

Most new drivers available now can be considered perfect.

It is usual esp. that 7 is a new OS and not well compatible with earlier drivers and software. In your case it was caused exactly by what Torrent showed you:

I thought I had updated all my drivers but I still received a blue screen this morning.
What kind of program do you use to debug?

Should have installed the newest drivers now. Uninstalled the DNE, installed some fix and reinstalled because I need a VPN connection to log into my university network.

Don't know if that's the problem or that there still is a driver which isn't up to date but I got another BSOD.

    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
    happening.
    Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff80003189c3f, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: fffff880031c4a38, Exception Record Address
    Arg4: fffff880031c42a0, Context Record Address

Actually uninstall VirtualCloneCD, as I supect it may conflict with PowerISO.

Please post a screen shot of CPU-Z memory tab and spd tab, each.

There is definitely either one of the two things causing this:

    1) Improper bios settings.

    2) Defective RAM, despite the previous testing.

If you are running Readyboost, disable it and remove all USB sticks from the machine.

I don't use readyboost, I do you the turbo ucc overclocking provided by the motherboard and bios. But I've turned it off for a while and I still had bsod then.

Cool, the issue is definitely the bios settings. You have it very underclocked and working too slow, with wrong timings.

Go into the bios and Load Optimized Defaults then save.

Post a new screen shot of the memory tab so I can see if it is now well. If not, you'll have to set it manually to be 667 MHz with 9-9-9-24 timings.

The memory tab is the important one to look at now, so please post that. No need to zip it. Simply attach.

I believe it's fixed now, but I thought the SPD had to be the same so maybe it was already fixed when I loaded the default settings, but I've manually adjusted the settings now. So they should be right now.
