Discovered and issue with a Dell machine that turned out to be some bad sectors on th HDD that were found and repaired by seatools.Install of windows 7 was fresh prior to discovering the HDD errors, now it run fine, but widows update keep failing with the code: Code 8024200D

Any ideas what is happening and how to resolve?

I personally had an issue with an update and removed it from (XP)-C:\Windows\Installer, find the exact update and remove directory. BUT it isn't recommended at all so try step above first and probably wait for other user comments.
