Can not download music from CD to Music Folder. It automaticly goes to Win. media Player Library. When I am using Win. Live Movie maker to create a slide show, I can't add music. There appears to be no connection between the program and win. Media where the music is stored. How do I down load music into Music Folders?

Solution
To download music from a CD to your Music Folder in Windows and ensure it is accessible in Windows Live Movie Maker, you can follow these steps:

Step 1: Rip Music from CD to Music Folder

  1. Insert the CD: Place the music CD into your computer's CD/DVD drive.
  2. Open Windows Media Player: Launch Windows Media Player. If it doesn't open automatically, you can open it by searching for it in the Start menu.
  3. Rip the CD: In Windows Media Player, locate the option to "Rip CD" or "Rip Settings." You can usually find this in the toolbar menu.
  4. Select Music Format: Choose the format (MP3 or WMA) you want the music to be ripped to and select the destination as your Music Folder.

Step 2: Add Music to Windows Live Movie Maker

  6. Open Windows Live Movie Maker: Launch the Windows Live Movie Maker application.
  7. Add Music: Inside Windows Live Movie Maker, you should see an option to add music. Look for a "Add Music" or "Import Music" button in the toolbar or menu.
  8. Locate Music in Music Folder: Navigate to the location where your music is stored (in this case, your Music Folder) and select the music file you want to add to your slideshow.
  9. Customize the Slide Show: Once you have added the music, you can customize your slideshow with transitions, effects, and timing.
  10. Save or Export: After you have created your slideshow with music, remember to save or export the video file with the integrated music.

    Troubleshooting Tips:

    • Ensure that the music files are actually ripped to your Music Folder and not just added to the Windows Media Player library.
    • If the music is not appearing in Windows Live Movie Maker, make sure you are selecting the correct folder where the music is stored.
    • Check the file format of the music files to ensure compatibility with both Windows Media Player and Windows Live Movie Maker.
By following these steps, you should be able to download music from a CD to your Music Folder in Windows and use it in Windows Live Movie Maker for your slideshow creations. If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, feel free to ask!
