The error code you mentioned, "Port#0002.Hub#0001 Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" is a common error related to USB device malfunctions. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
  1. Unplug and Replug the USB Device:
    • Simply unplugging the USB device from your computer, waiting for a few seconds, and then plugging it back in might reset the connection and resolve the issue.
    []Use Another USB Port:
    • Try connecting the USB device to a different USB port on your computer. Sometimes, the port itself might be the problem.
    [
    ]Update USB Drivers:
    • Outdated or corrupted USB drivers could be the cause of the problem. You can try updating the USB drivers to see if that resolves the issue.
    • Go to the Device Manager, locate the USB controller, right-click on it, and select "Update Driver Software."
    []Check for Windows Updates:
    • Ensure that your Windows 7 system is up to date with the latest updates. Sometimes, Windows updates contain fixes for hardware-related issues.
    [
]Check USB Device on Another Computer:
    • To confirm if the issue is with the USB device itself, try connecting it to another computer. If it works on another computer, the issue is likely with your Windows 7 system.
    []Try a System Restore:
    • If this issue started after a recent change or update, you can try performing a system restore to a point before the problem occurred.
    [
]Disable Power Saving for USB Devices:
    • Sometimes, Windows may be turning off the USB device to save power. You can disable this feature in the Device Manager:
      • Go to Device Manager, expand "Universal Serial Bus controllers," right-click on the USB Root Hub, select "Properties," go to the "Power Management" tab, and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
  2. Check for Hardware Issues:
    • If none of the above solutions work, there might be a hardware issue with either the USB device or the USB port on your computer. In this case, you may need to consult a technician for further assistance. Try these steps one by one and see if any of them help resolve the issue with the malfunctioning USB device on your Windows 7 system.
