USB not recognized

I recently installed windows xp on dell xps to make it a dual boot system. After installing i found that its not recognizizng USB device. Any help in this regard.

Thanks a lot. I really appreciate your time.

well if the problem is with dual boot, try a freeware named EasyBCD to manage multiple OS's on your PC

That happens to me sometimes. I just unplug & re-plug. It usually recognizes after that.-

When dual booting multiple operating systems on your computer you also need to install system drivers for the specific operating system. You can click the link below to download and install the XP drivers for your system. The specific drivers that you will need for your computer is the Windows XP Chipset Drivers in order for the usb ports to work. Also, install the others as well.
