The USB ports on one side of my HP Pavilion laptop are not working fully since recharging the battery after the power ran out and the system hibernated. (Other side is fine.) They recognize that something has been inserted and withdrawn by a sound, but will not actually recognize or power up the devices (mouse, printer, USB stick). (They work on the other side). I thought it might have something to do with disabling equipment when the power is low and disabled this function - but I have restarted many times and nothing changes. I tested the battery and it is functioning well. In control panel, all the USB devices are "functioning fully" and the drivers are up to date. Is this a hardware or software (permission) problem?????
