    Hi,

I work in a environment where we are migrating from Windows xp to windows7.
This is a very slow proces, due to the great number of legacy apps there are in the different divisions of the environment.
    Therefore we migrate per division.

There are a number of users that need both a windows xp and a windows7 account (administrators for example) in the same domain.

I would like to know what exactly could happen to the windows 7 pc, when someone accidently logs on with his XP account. Is this theoretically possible?
    Can this be technically prevented?

I am currently setting up a test environment in which i will empiracly test the described scenario.
But i was looking for some documentation or other administrators experience on this topic.
