To connect your computer to a TV and view pictures and videos with high quality, you would ideally want a graphics card that supports high-resolution displays and video playback. Given that you have a 55-inch TV with 240Hz refresh rate, you'll want a graphics card that can handle such resolutions and refresh rates effectively. Here are some recommendations for a good video card based on your setup: 1. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super: This card offers good performance for its price and is suitable for 1080p gaming and multimedia playback. 2. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super: Provides extra performance for gaming and multimedia tasks, with support for ray tracing if you're interested in that. 4. AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT: A powerful card that can handle high-resolution displays and demanding applications. 5. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070: If you want top-tier performance for high-resolution gaming and multimedia tasks, this card is a great choice. When choosing a graphics card, ensure that it has the necessary outputs to connect to your TV. Typically, modern graphics cards include HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, both suitable for high-definition displays like your 55-inch TV. Before making a purchase, ensure that your power supply can handle the requirements of the new graphics card, especially if you opt for a more powerful one. Upgrading to a new graphics card can significantly enhance your multimedia viewing experience on your TV.
