I have a video card which worked and then I replaced itand then I put back the original one. Before I put the original one back Ideleted all the video drivers then updated. The video words great but everytime I re-boot the computer I get a message saying "Catalyst Controlcenter can't deal with your driver and need to update which I did but themessage keeps coming back. How can I get rid of that message?

I went into safe mode under Program files (x86) and deleted ATI and now I don't have the message and everything is OK.

To address the recurring message related to Catalyst Control Center after reinstalling your original video card and dealing with driver updates, it's essential to thoroughly remove all remnants of the previous video card drivers. It seems like you took the right approach by deleting the ATI folder from Program Files (x86) in Safe Mode, as this likely resolved the issue. Here are the steps you can follow to ensure that all remnants of the old drivers are removed and prevent the message from reappearing: 1. Uninstall AMD/ATI Software: - Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog. - Type appwiz.cpl and press Enter to open Programs and Features. - Locate any AMD/ATI software such as "Catalyst Control...

Remove Residual Files: - To remove any remaining files, go to C:\Program Files (x86) or C:\Program Files and delete any folders related to AMD/ATI or Catalyst Control Center. - Additionally, navigate to C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local and AppData\Roaming folders, and delete any AMD/ATI folders present. 3. Driver Cleanup: - Use a tool like Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to thoroughly remove display drivers. This tool helps clean up any remaining driver files that can cause conflicts. 4. Reinstall the Latest Drivers: - Download the latest drivers for your original video card from the manufacturer's website. - Install the drivers after ensuring that all previous drivers and related software are completely removed using the steps above. By following these steps, you can ensure a clean removal of all previous video card drivers and related software, preventing the recurring message about Catalyst Control Center from appearing on your system. If you encounter any issues during this process, feel free to ask for further assistance.
