I am running 7 in virtual box. I got it because I really want to run the zune software so I can use my zune again. I got it running and I got the zune software. I got the zune connected ut the installation of the driver fails every time and I've tried all I can think of. So the zune can't connect. Any thoughts?

    Thanks ,kopkins

Make sure USB support is completely enabled. Support for Zune and Windows Phone 7 seem to be somewhat of a problem for VirutalBox users. It is likely that the host computer is already taking control of these resources before the guest system is even powered on. I recommend following these Zune Virtualization Steps. If that doesn't work, you may want to consider using virtual machine software with better USB support. Namely, you could use VMWare Converter to get your virtual machine working on VMWare Player. A more obvious option, of course, would be Microsoft's XP Mode.

That worked, I didn't have USB 2.0 controller.

    Thanks you so much.
