I just got my new HP w2408h display. Before I had a Samsung 940BF and had none of the following issues:
Whenever the screen is turned off (by me via power button on the display or by Windows (Stand By, ...)) and is then turned on again, the wallpaper is removed and the screen runs with 59Hz instead of the 60Hz. Same happens if I plug out the video cable and plug it in again.
My system specs:
Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit
Intel Q6700
ATi Radeon HD4870
What is causing this behaviour and how can I make it stop?
