Windows 7 Website Blocking/Filtering

Hi There,

Does anyone know where I can find a piece of software that will allow me to block websites by URL and/or keywords that are applied to specific users/groups. I have to select the user/group this applies to.


I am using a local machine not AD

I use this.

I don't know about the users/groups thing though. This thing blocks all the known bad websites. I hope it helps.

You can block IE's websites using Parental Controls in Windows and still use gpedit.msc to manipulate block lists.

You can use Peer Guardian or PeerBlocker for IP/based blocking.

You can use a whitelist for IE and block the other browsers.

I use the Hosts file and an old app Hosts Toggle that makes it easy to load and turn off if I wish.
