I have recently installed the Windows 7 RTM x64 and everything's great minus one small issue. I cannot get my volume control to show up in the taskbar. I right click and go to properties of the taskbar, and it brings me to a menu that says "Turn system icons on or off." However, the menu for Volume is greyed out and the behavior is set to off.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    It could be this:
Right click the small upward poining arrow, beside the notification arrows. Select properties. See if the volume control is selected.
