Where can i get a Ethernet Controller for my laptop?

Hello all,
I've had to reformat my lapop and im unable to get my internet to work on my laptop. when i looked into my driver manager it says;
Ethernet Controller X Device not found
Base System Device X Device not found
Base System Device X Device not found

My laptop is a AlienWare M15x

Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit (6.1, Build 7600)
Processor- Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M 330 @ 2.13GHz (4CPUs),~2.13 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 2.00GB
System Type:64-bit OS
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M


My wireless features work, however its not picking up when a cable is plugged in, which is what i need to work! :(

Anybody help me please?

Head for your laptop manufacturer's website...
look for the support downloads section and download a driver set for your laptop.
Install them as directed and let us know how you make out.

Win7 is pretty good... but it doesn't have every driver for every machine built in.
There are some you will need to manually install.

As CommonTater has indicated go here
Drivers & Downloads=
select your operating system, Windows 7 64bit and
you'll need the Intel Driver under the network section 825xx Gigabit Platform Lan Nework Device
and for the other two try the chipset driver you may very well need both the Intel and the Ricoh.
