Might this be the problem??  Another thing, i have a butt load (seriously really a lot) of events titled service control manager that updates itself every couple minutes. During the time i had a freeze this app is updated several times during a second , i counted something like 30-40 for one second.Another thing, after switching off all eye candy in system properties=>adv system prop.=>adv tab=> performance settings i have not had a freeze which should have happened under normal circumstances. What do you make of that?</blockquote>
