I have Windows 7 with SP1 and am running Internet Explorer 9. At times when I try closing a window with the red X at the upper right, the screen freezes. It seems to happen only with a second window that is opened in a website. If I go to task mgr. it shows it running and I can click to end it there, and then it returns to the first window which I can then close normally with the mouse. I can also close it with the ALT/F4 keys directly. It only happens with the mouse. Any ideas? Thanks. Tom
