Windows Vista Window size/position

Is there some voodoo I need to make the windows in vista stay the same size and be in the same position? My computer seems to stick ok, but control panel, recycle bin, etc, always seems to go back to a small little window.

Hmm.... try resizing them and then pressing Ctrl. I did know this command but I'm not sure if this is it...

Constant hassle! New to Vista. Updated the other day and all characters turned real small finally fixed most of that. zoom the display to 150% to be able to read it.

Hi, it sounds like your resolution has shot up. Right-click on the desktop and hit 'personalise'. A box will appear with 'Display Settings' written at the bottom, click that. You'll now see another box with a slider bar relating to screen resolution. Try dropping it back one notch at a time until your happy with the size.
