What's New in Windows 11 Build 22000.1515?​

Enhanced Personalization with Windows Spotlight and Themes​

Microsoft has combined Windows Spotlight with Themes on the Personalization page. This integration makes it easier for users to discover and activate the Windows Spotlight feature, enriching the desktop experience
with stunning images and themes.

Improved Microsoft Account Management​

The update bolsters the Microsoft Account experience in Settings, allowing users to:

• Manage OneDrive subscriptions and storage alerts directly from the settings.
• View the total storage capacity of all OneDrive subscriptions.
• View storage alerts when approaching storage limits, and easily manage or purchase additional storage if needed.

In addition, Xbox subscription details are now visible on the Accounts page within Settings. Xbox subscribers can manage their subscriptions, and non-subscribers can explore subscription options from the same page.

Key Fixes in this Build​

This build addresses a plethora of issues
that enhance the stability and performance of Windows 11:

• Search Issues: Resolved an issue with searchindexer.exe stopping users from signing in or out. Also fixed the problem preventing file search based on content.
• Deadlocks and Application Crashes: Addressed a deadlock issue affecting COM+ applications and fixed an issue with conhost.exe not responding.
• Application Launch Problems: Some modern applications previously prevented from opening should now function correctly.
• DNS and URL Configuration: Fixed issues with the DNS suffix search list and added support for long URLs up to 8196 characters.
• IME and Input Issues: Fixed issues with applications becoming unresponsive when
  using the mouse and keyboard simultaneously.
• Window Handle and Memory Issues: Corrected issues with FindWindow() and FindWindowEx() returning incorrect window handles, and resolved memory damage problems linked to certain HD audio controllers.
• TPM and AutoPilot Setup: Fixed problems affecting systems with firmware Trusted Platform Modules (TPMs) that hindered the AutoPilot setup process.
• Edge and Printing: Resolved incorrect printing outputs in Microsoft Edge when using Microsoft Defender Application Guard.
• Touch Keyboard and Explorer Issues: Fixed issues preventing the touch keyboard from opening and explorer.exe from responding when using keyboard media buttons.
• LDAP and ReFS Issues: Resolved issues with Windows Server 2022
  domain controllers managing LDAP requests and fixed nonpaged pool memory leaks in ReFS.
