Introduction​

The Windows Insider Program Team has announced the release of Windows 11 Build 22621.2066 (KB5028254) to users in the Release Preview Channel on Windows 11, version 22H2. This update brings a series of significant features and enhancements to improve the user experience.

  • Handwriting Software Input Panel (SIP) Enhancements: Supports GB18030-2022 conformance level 2, meeting level 3 requirements.
  • Power Consumption Optimization: Addresses a Windows Notification Platform issue that impacts device power usage.
  • Windows Push Notification Services (WNS) Enhancement: Improves the reliability of client-to-WNS server connections.
  • Fix for Hybrid Joined Devices: Resolves the sign-in issue for hybrid joined devices not connected to the internet, particularly when using Windows Hello for Business credentials.
  • Windows Autopilot Profile Resilience: Enhances the download process of Windows Autopilot policy, providing better resilience in case of network connection issues.
  • Event Forwarding Subscriptions Fix: Resolves an issue with unnecessary event forwarding in Event Forwarding Subscriptions.
  • Various Fixes: Addresses issues related to network connectivity, hardware drivers, printing jobs, audio devices, and more.
