Hello WindowsForum users! Microsoft has just released a new Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25276 to the Dev Channel. This update brings a variety of improvements and new features as well as several key fixes. Let's dive into what's new and improved in this build.
## Key Updates and New Features
### Task Manager Enhancements
One of the standout features in this build is the introduction of live kernel memory dumps (LKDs) in Task Manager. Designed for developers, this feature allows for the collection of live kernel memory dumps, aiding in troubleshooting while letting the OS continue to operate. Here's how you can capture an LKD:
1. Go to the Details page in Task Manager.
2. Right-click on the System process.
3. Select "Create live kernel memory dump file".
The dumps will be saved in the following directory:
### Updates to Cloud Storage in Settings
The Settings app now includes updates to provide a visual overview of your cloud storage usage. Notably, Outlook attachment data will now be included in your cloud storage metrics.
