This doesn't seem to be working on Windows 7. Wondering if anyone has a solution to administer Active Directory other than remoting into the domain controllers?

RSAT for Vista does not work either as it requires Vista SP1. This also means that RSAT does not currently support Vista SP2.

I have installed the new Admin Pack and it appears to be working properly. I haven't tested it much as I have been looking for workarounds for issues like my Cisco VPN, but what I have tested (ADUC, DNS, etc...) appears to be working properly. I am going to try a few things like GPM today or Tuesday.

I have version that works.It was on Microsofts website 5 months ago,but not any more.

RSAT is good but if you administer Exchange 2003 or Live Communication Server 2005 I prefer this solution:

RSAT Active Directory Users and Computers(ADUC)

These RSAT download links worked for me. Then I followed this tutorial Link Removed due to 404 Error to install ADUC. Hopefully, this post will save you time installing ADUC on Windows 7.
