Windows 7 Windows 7 and Vista - compatable?

Is there such a thing as some software that is for Windows Vista but not Windows 7?

The reason I ask is because sometimes I want to install some software that the manufacture site says it's Vista compatible but they don't mention Windows 7. So my question is, if a software is compatible for Vista, is it OK to say it's also compatible for Windows 7?

Sure there is, but more an more apps are coming out for windows 7.

If you go to most download sites, look and see what operating systems are supported.

Many software titles supporting Vista work on Windows 7 also.

Create a restore point before you install the software.
