ok so heres the problem i was running windows xp and decided i wanted to get 7 but on my other hard drive, so i went through the normal steps and i now have xp on one hard drive and 7 on the other but if i try to boot my windows 7 hard drive as master then it tells me my ntldr is missing but if i boot the xp hard drive it gives me the option which i want to boot, and they're definatly on differnt hard drives its not on a partition or anything, basically my question is if i now format my windows xp drive will it stop me from booting 7 and if so how can i correct this

I've read fixes here.. but let me first advise you disconnect the xp drive and play around BEFORE you delete anything.

Like the old saying goes... remember to pillage BEFORE you burn.
