Hi kingakoopa and Welcome to The Forum.

    STOP 0x0000000A: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    Usual causes:
Kernel mode driver, System Service, BIOS, Windows, Virus scanner, Backup tool, compatibility

Your latest (and most) of your dump file lists ntkrnlmp.exe as the probable cause. This is a Windows System file and for it to be the cause of your crash is highly unlikely.
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7 (and you've plenty of those ! :)), often giving false error codes. Random stop codes often indicate hardware issues.

    As a Priority:

AVG is known to be a cause of BSOD's on Windows 7 systems. Suggest that you uninstall it. Download the correct AVG Remover for your system (32 or 64 bit).
If you have AVG ID protection installed, download the AVGID Protection Remover from the above link as well (it wouldn't hurt to download and run it anyway). Download BSOD friendly Microsoft Security Essentials as AVG's replacement. Uninstall AVG through the Control Panel. Re-boot to Safe Mode and run the AVG Removal tool(s). Re-boot to normal mode and install MSE. Make sure your Windows firewall is enabled!

Outdated Drivers. Update: Your first stop should be to your O.E.M and update as many drivers as you can.

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: ffffea8004ae3908, memory referenced
    Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
    Arg3: 0000000000000000, bitfield :
        bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff80002ea1dd5, address which referenced memory

    wow really?
    All these changes?
So we are just changing everything we can but we are not really able to pin point and isolate the issue?
    That one single bad file...?
I have had AVG since the day I bought this laptop ( 1 year) and this BSOD started happening a week ago.

windows 7 was released July 13, 2009 anything (driver) prior to that cant know how to properly work in that environment. That is why MIcrosoft did not recommend updating but clean installing win 7. You obvious have drivers from way before (year+) win 7 so they at least need updating if you are having BSOD problems.

Just be thankful there are people on here to help. Can't really find service like this for free. They've been a huge help to me, they do know what they're doing. Unless you want to take your laptop to a shop and pay for them to fix it, users on this forum are your best bet. Hope you get it fixed!

We ask OPs to update their drivers so we can try and rule out old and incompatible drivers as the cause of the bsod's. We also ask for AV to be removed for the same reason. One thing I'm finding a little concerning is it's a laptop with drivers for multiple RAID controllers from IBM, LSI, Qlogic, SIS, Promise and VIA. Which can't be right.

Do you have a Windows 7 install disk at hand? Can we alos have the make and full model number of your laptop so we can see what devices are actually present on you laptop.

    Thx

And what makes you think that I was bring ungrateful and unthankful to what these guys are doing?
Whats up with the attitude dude?

Is that your way of helping people by being condescending and patronizing?
I never questioned their kindness ,reason to help , dedication and motivation o...but I did question the actual process of finding the delta....if you dont like this , then i guess then i guess someone has issues.

OK Folks!! Lets keep it cool!!

@kinga. I'm assuming this was an upgrade install. Do you only have an upgrade disc? Do you know you can do a clean install with only the upgrade material?

As zigzag pointed out, You'll always be much better off with a clean install as the drivers will all(?) be Win 7 compliant.

    Thanks for responding Elmer....
This is an OEM install from HP....My laptop had factory installation of windows 7.
I never removed it or upgraded it.....I started using it starigth out of the box and ive been using that same install for the past year.

I admit I do need to create the recovery disks.
Im not sure what you mean by upgrade disc. Do you mean the DVD that I would have used to upgrade to Windows 7 if my laptop had Vista? The I would say No because this isnt an upgrade but an OEM Windows 7 install.

Do you think I can do a clean install from those restore discs?
    Any idea? Thoughts?
    Thanks a lot.

Another thing i forgot to mention.
I dont even have BSODs anymore.
My laptop just freaks out while Im playing my game.
I get a large block / blurred freeze frame with a buzzing sound and then the laptop restarts.
Thats it. No more BSODs. Now I get No-SODs.
    :)

So your now getting spontaneous restarts while playing your game. Can you check you sound and video drivers are uptodate. Also check the cooling on your laptop as the majority of restarts are caused by heat.

Since you are no longer having BSOD's can you check event viewer for any critical errors listed there that pertain to this problem?

There are several ways to find what the problem is. The best is to go into event viewer (type eventvwr in search). Go to the windows log>application tab.

You want to look for critical errors (they have red in the left column ).

When you find them you want to look for critical errors that say app hang, app crash, or anything that relates to the problem.

When you find them please note the event ID, and the source codes and tell us what they are.
