Windows 7 installation prob

    So im going from xp to 7 and i get all the way done with the install and my computer restarts and then when it goes back to the setup to finsh or whatever its states an error saying computer restarted unexpectedly and installation cant proceed? anyone know why? im running one harddrive in sata one dvd rom 2 gigs of ram 64bit processor and a geforce 9500gt.

    Might be the video card.

    What condition is your system in now? Can you finish the install in safe mode?

    I figured it out was two things err 3 one was in asus bios the plug and play os was set to off. then I had a sound card installed pci slot and an old wireless card pci installed both of which were not in use I took them out and walla golden windows 7 is freakin sweet!!!
