I have windows 7 enterprise, the issue is I cannot logon in normal mode. When the system boots up I get the message Press CTRL-ALT-DEL. When I press CTRL_ALT_DEL I wait a while then I get a blue screen like I should but it is missing the logon fields.

After the orginal install it worked for a couple of weeks then it started. I restored the system several times but it keeps comming back. So this has been going on for about 1 month.

Are your user accounts appear under:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\
CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList

Any user accounts whose names are present under this branch will be hidden from the logon screen. Could you attach a screenshot of that ?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Start > Run > secpol.msc > Local policies > Security settings > Interactive Logon: Hide last user > Disable.
Reboot
Or you can try Link Removed due to 404 Error in XP compatiblity mode => Logon => Settings => check Show accounts.
There is no SpecialAccounts under Winlogon.
I have Interactive Logon : Hide last user -> Disable
If there is No SpecialAccounts folder how do I get the accounts there?
