I Recently upgraded my system and performed a fresh install of Windows 7 ultimate. Everything went smoothly, until i tried connecting to the internet, where i received an yellow triangle and 'no internet connectivity.'

Important Computer specs are: Intel Core i3-2100 3.10GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor
    Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache

    MSI H61M-P23 Intel H61 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard **B3 REVISION**
(PCI Express LAN 10/100/1000 Fast Ethernet by Atheros AR8151.)

    Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX1333C9D3B1K2/8G)

Lan drivers installed fine and I have tried reinstalling them several times.

Ive also tried: Disabling/renabling the network adapter.
    Reinstalling Windows 7
Putting in a random mac address
    Changing security settings
    uninstalling anti virus
checking bonjour wasnt interfering with the system
changing router settings to assign different ip
    flushing dns
    ipconfig renew/release
I've also tried changing to wireless from the lan connection i was using, all to no avail.

Another laptop seems to connect fine, so it seems like it's a problem with the install of windows 7. I did try an install of windows xp but got a 'psy.sys' error, which i presume is due to my mobo no longer supporting xp? In which case it seems that Windows 7 is my only option as I don't have a Vista disk.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm fairly stumped, the only thing i can think of is perhaps downloading the lan drivers from the MSI website, but they dont seem to be updated from the originals I already have. Alternatively I was thinking I could try to do a static IP address but I can't seem to find my true DHCP server on my Virgin Super Hub panel. Also i've tried resetting the router and switching it off and on several times and should mention that i can access the router panel through my browser.

Any help would be really be appreciated as i need my pc up and running to work,

    Thanks.
