Windows 7 not recognizing Graphics card

#1
Hi,

Im just running windows 7 on my laptop and I cannot get it to work with my 9700m GT. Windows only says i have a standard vga graphics adapter. The new Nvidia drivers do not show up under windows update either. Does anyone know how to fix this probelm? or is it an issue that its a laptop graphics card and Nvidia hasnt released drivers for it?

Thx in advance for any help

After downloading, uninstall the current driver from Device Manager, then run setup

Try this driver direct from Nvidia

It's the 32-bit version, I',m hoping that's what you're running:

Hello,

I am having the same issue as above. I have win7 64 bit and it does not detect my NVIDIA® GeForce® 8400M GT Graphics
Card. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.
