windows 7 desktop settings changed my customised settings after logging on...any advice?

Hi - it is the main Desktop settings which are changed - all shortcuts etc. I guess the answer to your question is that they are both changed and reset! Thanks.

Have you installed any new programs or updates recently? This normaly happends because the (hidden) desktop.ini file that defines the desktop has been deleted or reset in some other way.

I did a System Restore and all is now back to normal. Many thanks
