Hi
I'm having a lot of trouble getting my computer to resume from standby (S3) to start a scheduled recording. Every settings seem to be correct, BIOS, "Allow wake timers" enabled, no problems suspending/resuming with the remote and so on. But when ever I schedule a recording, using Windows Media Center, and put the computer to sleep . . . nothing happens. It doesn't wake up.
Please help, I'm going crazy here - this is the only thing missing to make my pc a perfect media center.
System:
Intel DG45ID
Intel QuadCore Q8300
2 GB RAM
1 TB HDD
Sony Optiarc Blu-ray drive
Windows 7 Home Premium

I am having this problem too. I just built a new PC last month, and Media Center has only resumed a couple times to record a show. But most of the time it will not resume to start a scheduled recording.
Any help is appreciated. I am not going to create a new thread, I am just going to bump this one.
These are the specs of my computer that may be related to the sleep issue:
β ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO/U3S6 AM3 Motherboard
β AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2GHz AM3 "MBOX" CPU
β G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 RAM
β ASUS ENGTS250 DK/DI/1GD3/WW GeForce GTS 250 1GB Video Card
β Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Thanks for any help!
