I launch Explorer from the SuperBar (which I hate) and no matter what I do Explorer doesn't retain the column widths in the Right Hand pane I always have to drag the bar to the right to see all the columns I want.

    Any Ideas please?

OK. The problem was carried down from Vista to the Windows 7 Betas, but I have never heard of it in the RTM or later.

Have unticked the option "Restore previous folder windows at logon" ?

If so, try this attachment. It was designed for Vista, but will incorporate the fix in Windows 7.

Thanks very much but that doesn't work either. I have only lust realised that it's the preview pane that's causing the problem.
If I turn the Preview pane off all is well. But with the pPreview Pane On, it always reverts to the Preview Pane occupying most of the RHS panel.

    Thanks again for your help.
