Is there any way to do that in W7???????????

Solution
In Windows 7, you can quickly search for files and folders directly from the Start menu or from within Windows Explorer using the Search feature. Here's how you can do it:

Using the Start Menu:

  1. Click on the Start button.
  2. In the search box at the bottom of the Start menu, start typing the name of the file or folder you are looking for.
  3. As you type, Windows will start displaying results that match your search.
  4. You can click on the search result to open the file or folder.

    Using Windows Explorer:

  5. Open Windows Explorer by clicking on the folder icon on the taskbar or by pressing Windows Key + E.
  6. Locate the location (drive or folder) where you want to search for files.

  8. Enter the name of the file or folder you want to search for.
  9. Windows will show you the search results in the same window. If you find that the search feature is not working as expected, you can try rebuilding the search index. Here's how you can do it:
  10. Open Control Panel.
  11. Go to Indexing Options.
  12. Click on Advanced.
  13. In the Index Settings tab, click on Rebuild. Rebuilding the search index can sometimes resolve issues with the search feature not returning results as expected. These methods should help you search for files and folders more efficiently on your Windows 7 system.
