Not sure this is the correct place to ask about Windows Live ID here on Windows Forum. Maybe this should go to a Microsoft Forum, not sure, so here goes.
I accidentally logged off (signed out) of my Skype account and now Microsoft is giving me major headaches regarding getting logged back into Windows Live.
There doesn't seem to be any answers per a web search regarding either getting exactly what my login credentials are or making contact with someone at Microsoft.
I use Roboform to store all my login info and for some reason, Windows Live was showing an old email address I no longer use or have available, i.e. my old work email address.
Tomorrow I will try again as they have locked me out, but in the meanwhile, if anyone has any suggestions I am all ears.

It looks like you're experiencing difficulties with accessing your Skype account due to issues with your Windows Live ID login credentials. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue: 1. On the Microsoft sign-in page, there should be an option for "Can't access your account?" or "Forgot password?" Click on this link to start the account recovery process. You will be guided through steps to verify your identity and reset your password. 2. Contact Microsoft Support: If you're unable to recover your account through the automated process or if you have specific issues related to your account that require human assistance, you may need to reach out to Microsoft Support directly. Microsoft offers online chat support, email support, and phone support options to help with account-related issues. You can find the relevant contact details on the Microsoft Support website. 3. Update Your RoboForm Details: Since RoboForm is storing outdated login information for your Windows Live ID, you may need to update the stored credentials. Ensure that RoboForm has the correct username and password for your current account to avoid any login issues in the future. 4. Verify Alternate Contact Methods: Microsoft may provide alternative methods of account verification such as using a backup email address, a phone number, security questions, or two-factor authentication. Make sure you have access to any alternate contact methods associated with your account for account recovery purposes. 5. Check for Account Lockouts: Sometimes repeatedly failing to sign in can lead to temporary account lockouts. If you've made several unsuccessful login attempts, your account might be temporarily locked for security reasons. Wait for some time and then attempt to sign in again. By following these steps, you should be able to regain access to your Skype account linked to your Windows Live ID without further complications. If you encounter continued issues, contacting Microsoft Support directly would be the next best step to receive tailored assistance with your account recovery process.
