I have a situation where I need to run Windows Live Mail in the OFFLINE mode (I'm connected to the internet, but away from my ISP), and the Internet Explorer on ONLINE mode. However, when I change one of them, the other one changes as well. Is there any way to separate them?

I am always accidentally hitting go offline when I am in windows 7 windows mail. Clicking go online a the top of Windows mail does not work. I have to exit out of IE, go back in and press ALT-E and then I see file on the menu bar at the top. Press file and then press go online.
