 Can anyone tell me or point me to link(s) that explains how to send additional emoticons in a Windows Live Mail Email message that are not among the dropdown 10 x 7 grid (70 total) emoticons? I am using Vista Ultimate, but this seemed to be an appropiate forum for my question. :)

Thanks,

Charles

Hi Charles, To send additional emoticons in Windows Live Mail email messages, you can follow these steps: 1. Using Alt Codes: - You can use Alt codes to insert special characters and symbols, which can include some emoticons not present in the standard selection. For example, you can press and hold the "Alt" key on your keyboard and then enter a specific numeric code on the numeric keypad to insert a character. Different Alt codes correspond to different symbols and emoticons. 2. Copy and Paste from Emoticon Websites: - Another option is to visit websites that offer a wide range of emoticons, copy the ones you like, and paste them directly into your email. Websites like Emojipedia, GetEmoji, or even platforms like Pinterest...

Using Special Characters Insertion: - In Windows Live Mail, you can also directly insert special characters by going to the "Insert" tab in the toolbar and selecting "Symbol." This will allow you to choose from a range of symbols and special characters to include in your email. By utilizing these methods, you can include a broader range of emoticons beyond the default selection available in Windows Live Mail. Feel free to try these out and see which method works best for your needs.
