Windows 7 windows.old and the system32 drivers

If I put the drivers from system32 in the windows.old folder
into the windows 7 drivers folder...would that help some drivers be seen properly?
Can I do that? or will that cause errors?

I wouldn't recommend doing that, it will more than likely cause a slew of errors.. It will NOT help any drivers be recognized unfortunately.. That folder is better off being deleted.. (after you have removed any personal files that may be in it of course)..
