Windows 7 windows setup help!!

hi.i have windows 7 32 bit system but i want to get back for windows xp because i dont have a good card to active the directx 11 on windows 7 so when i try to install the windows xp it keeps telling me that :u have a newer version then the one that u r trying to install
so what should i do ?

think you should boot from the xp cd and format the partition with 7 on it..
